Summary
Ed is a 46 year old man who has been smoking since he was 14 years old. He wants to quit for his three children and his last quit attempt was in October of 2007, using Chantix. Unfortunately, he had a few setbacks and found himself smoking again. He struggles with cravings in the morning and is committed to making this quit attempt his last.

When you quit smoking, your risk of stroke decreases steadily. Former smokers have the same stroke risk as nonsmokers after 5 to 15 years.
