Angela and Justin's final video blog has them looking back at their experience and reflecting on what they have learned. Justin's experience was marked with a series of ups and downs, mostly caused by outside influences driving him to smoke. For Angela, it has been realizing that she's not quite as strong as she had thought. She feels that the process has brought her and Justin closer and they have grown as a couple. They are both determined to never give up and will continue to fight their addiction to nicotine.

Mylie is the reason that Angela and Justin decided to quit in the first place, so they thought it was important to introduce her on this video blog. Justin still feels as though he needs to cut back, while Angela is happy with her progress during the course of the program, but knows she has more work to do.

Angela and Justin are still quitting cold turkey. Their daughter is still their number one inspiration to stop smoking. Angela and Justin's grandmother quit smoking because of their journey on DeterminedToQuit.com. They are happy to be positively impacting other's lives. Angela and Justin hope to have a better update on the next vlog.

Angela and Justin have had a good week, only smoking one pack each for the past seven days. Angela plans to utilize 1-800-QUITNOW if she runs into trouble this coming week. They are both convinced that they will continue to reduce their cigarette usage as they build on their current momentum.

Angela and Justin discuss the effect of being in the public eye on their quit attempt. They both feel more accountable about their actions and are using it as a motivator to stick to their plan. They have also been pleased with the amount of support from not only family and friends, but also people who have seen them in the news. Things are going well for both of them and they are positive about the future.

Angela and Justin check in with a progress report. Justin is struggling with the stress of work and is not hitting his goal of two packs of cigarettes a week. Angela has done a good job of cutting back this week. She has been using the Quit Companion to send herself text messages of support on her phone. She has also been keeping track of her slip-ups by texting to the site when she has a cigarette.

Angela and Justin are a married couple who are both attempting to quit smoking. They both smoke over half-a-pack of cigarettes each day but have set a goal to ween themselves off slowly. Follow along to see how their quit attempt progresses.
When you quit smoking, your risk of stroke decreases steadily. Former smokers have the same stroke risk as nonsmokers after 5 to 15 years.
